Project description:

The objective is to evaluate the bioavailability of organic P compounds for plant uptake at various organic/inorganic P ratios.  The experiment is being conducted in the greenhouse using coarse and fine textured soils low in extractable P (< 7 ppm).  Sorghum yield, P uptake, root surface area, root:shoot ratios, phosphatase activity, and mycorrhizal infection (via lipid biomaker) are being measured.

Key results:                In progress.
