Project description:

The project has four major objectives. 

  1. CNMP (Comprehensive Nutrient Management Planning) teams consisting of extension educators will be established in each district to provide producer training and technical support. 
  2. Producers will receive training in development and implementation of CNMP.
  3. Private consultants will receive training in development and implementation of CNMP to meet the knowledge requirements for certification as technical service providers.
  4. Software programs will be adapted or developed to ease the development and implementation of CNMPs.

 

Key results:

In-service training has been provided to the extension educators and district teams have been formed.
